2 RELIGIOUS JOIN ASEACCU

Rev. Fr. Alberto Pellazar, OAR and Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR joined the 23rd Association of South East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) Annual Conference in Soegijapranata Catholic University, Indonesia, August 27-29, 2015. The conference main theme was “Catholic Higher Education and Religious Inclusiveness” with subthemes as: Inclusiveness in a culturally Diverse Country; Catholic Higher Education in a Diverse learning Community; and Religious Inclusiveness and the role of Higher Education in a Diverse Community. The conference is a platform to share, learn and discuss the issues pertaining to religious inclusiveness and the role of Catholic Higher Education in Asian Contexts. The speakers and topic of the conference are: keynote addresses – Msgr. Ign. Suharyo; Prof. Dr. Ahmad Syafi’I Ma’arif; Inclusiveness in a Culturally Diverse Country – Mr. Ignasius Jonan, Minister of Transportation; Catholic Higher Education in a Diverse Learning Community – Rm. P. Wiryono, Chairperson of Indonesian Association of Catholic Institutes of Higher Learning; and Religious Inclusiveness and the Role of Higher Education in a diverse Community – Msgr. Antonius Subianto, Bishop of Bandung.
