The RBGS –MBA students conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility activity last March 24, 2018. Saturday was a rainy morning and students of MBA-G21 of the Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School (RBGS) headed out for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at Amayco Elementary School in Murcia, Neg. Occ. This activity is for the partial fulfillment for their moral philosophy and corporate Social Responsibility subject under the advisory of Professor Carmenda Leonoras, PhD. The project “Enhanced Solar Powered Cyber-library” will comprise the testing of the earlier installed solar panels, clean-up and beautification of the current computed laboratory of the students in the school, setting-up of the book shelf and donated books, and installation of educational and useful programs such as, Encarta, Photoshop, and Wondershare Video Editor. The activity was graced with the presence of Amayco Elementary School faculty members and barangay officials. The Signing of the memorandum of understanding and turn-over of the equipment were done after a short program. According to Mr. July Bayodang, School principal, the activity is a success and gave a”very good” evaluation of the project.
