The Special Technological and Educational Programs (STEP) office welcomes its five (5) Korean students for the Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Seminar on January 10, 2019 at room SA 104, UNO-R. This educational program for the Koreans is in partnership with Jason English Language School (JELS). Among the students of TESOL who came from two universities namely Dong-A University and Koojie University are Park Sojeong, Jang Seolah, Jeong Yebin, Cho Sungmok, and Kim Hyeonah. The program started with the usual opening formalities and was followed by a welcome message by Dr. Nena P. Samillano, director of STEP. Then, Mr. Kyoungpill Cho, the school owner of JELS presented the official students of the said program. The students were also able to experience a campus tour headed by Mr. Elmeer Meeynard Calimpos, staff of STEP and went back to the venue for the orientation and the essentials of Language Teaching by Dr. Adelyn Sia. Moreover, the STEP office invited eight (8) Grade 11 students under the advisory of Ms. Ernestine Lavilla to attend the program. The TESOL seminar will end on February 1, 2019. (Dr. Nena P.
