Religious and Lay administrators held the 4th Religious and Lay (Relay) administrators conference, July 25, 2019, at the Presidents’ Hall. The conference opened with the welcome address of the Fray Don Besana, OAR, university President. He told the lay administrators that Relay is part of the continuous formation of the Lay administrators in the spirit of St. Augustine. After him, the Prior and Vice President for Finance, Fray William Villaflor, OAR shared his reflections to the group. He opened his reflection on the topic of the Augustinian Recollect educator. He (AR Educator) is here to transmit, to be coherent and to be comprehensive in his vision of life and must be there to liberate the students entrusted to them. They should be witnesses of Christ and the Augustinian values. Fray Villaflor also reminded everyone to live and share the Augustinian values. After the sharing, offices under the VP Finance made their reports, Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague (Accounting Office); Mr. Ildefonso Obligado (Property Administrator); and Mr. Alvin Mananquil (MIS). Reports were also made by the offices under the Fr. President: External Affairs; Planning and Quality Assurance; and Legal Counsel. Fr. President closed the 4th relay conference with his reminders and prayers.
