Fray Jose Teodulfo Jadulco, OAR met with Dr. Legislador and Mr. Dexter Paul Dioso, PhD (DSA) and provided them with PAO’s anti-dengue campaign activities. It was then suggested that the “Search and Destroy” clean-up activities should go on for this is the most effective way of minimizing the spread of dengue-virus carrying mosquitos. Another suggestion was the Colleges to produce informational videos about dengue. The DSA also said that the Supreme student Government was sponsoring a seminar, August 8, on ECC and possibly Dengue –awareness shall be included. On the hand, Dr. Legislador said that he is willing to talk about dengue and other health-related concerns to the IS parents. Meanwhile, the Office of Student Welfare and Student Affairs has temporarily suspended the use of the school uniform for all tertiary students provided they wear long pants and have to adhere to the policies on wearing civilian clothes in the campus. The Integrated School has also temporarily allowed students to wear long pants and civilian clothes.
