SDPC Facilitates Job–Search Seminar and Jobquest

The Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC) held its 2014 Job-Search Seminar tagged as “Ace the Job Race” last February 21 at the President’s Hall from 9 am to 11 am. Ms. Chris Feli Joy Tajonera is the activity-in-charge for the morning’s affair. Ms. Maria Jaycel Grace Celiz gave a lecture on “Tips on Job Interviews and Job Alternative.” This was followed by mock interviews conducted by Mr. Lino Sumbillo, Jr.; Ms. Marienette Tuna and Ms. Cherry Bravo. There were around 231 participants.

 

In the afternoon, JOBQUEST 2014 was held at the same venue wth Mr. Fritz Palma as activity-in-charge. The program started with the opening message of the SDPC – OIC, Mr. Lino Sumbillo. There were 18 companies that participated. They were: Motortrade Nationwide Corp; Lopue’s San Sebastian; Outdoor Master, Inc.; Lopez Sugar Corp.; Kalipay Negrense Foundation, Inc.; Teletech; Diwa Learning System, inc.; PJL Group of Companies; SM Hypermarket – Savemore; Metrobank; Aldritz Corp; Ubiquity Global Services; GC & C Group of Companies; Panasiatic; SM Supermalls; Transcom; Morse Hydraulics Systems Corp.; and BNEFIT Inc.

 

SDPC is glad to announce that there were 8 hired on the spot: Lopue’s San Sebastian – 1 and Motortrade Nationwide Corp – 7. (data from SDPC)
