Three Chinese teachers from Bacolod Taytung High School enrolled in the Egnlish Immersion Program under the University Center for Cultural and Professional Development (UCCPD). Zhimin Chen, Lin Pan, and Minmin Chen, all assigned at the Basic Education Department of Bacolod Taytung High School, have opted to undergo the said program to be familiar with Filipino culture and with the teaching of English in a Filipino setting.
The three have been assigned to the classes handled by Mrs. Olive Jamandre (MWF 5:30 – 6:30 PM) and Mrs. Annaliza Montaño (TTh 5:30 – 7:00 PM). Their immersion program is from September 1 to October 2, 2008.
