The College of Arts and Sciences Bachelor of Science in Social Work program underwent Philippine Association of Accredited Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Formal Survey last April 27 and 28, 2026.
The team from PAASCU comprised of Dr. Janette Rodriguez, PAASCU Commission on Tertiary Education Vice Chair and Holy Angels University Director of the Institute for Academic Innovation and Entrepreneurship – Team Chairperson; Dr. Lolita Pablo of St. Bridget College, Batangas City – areas of Resource Management; Dr. Melba Manapol, Director of Office of Strategic Management and Quality Assurance (OSMQA) of Ateneo de Davao University – area of Teaching and Learning; and Ms. Jane Martinez, PAASCU representative.
The team was welcomed by University President, Rev. Fr. Joel A. Alve, OAR together with the Religious and lay Administrators at the President’s Hall during the welcome and opening program.
Day 1 of the visit includes meeting with the Lay Administrators, key players of the department: partners and community leaders. The team also conducted classroom observations and a campus tour. Day 1 capped with a meeting with Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio, Jr., OAR. Day 2 opened with a visit to the community partners, followed by a meeting of the Team Chairperson with the Fr. President.
The group also met with the students and the faculty. The visit was capped off with the post-accreditation meeting on the preliminary results of the survey visit.
