Koloran ta ang Kalibutan: Negros Artists & UNO-R Academic Community celebrate Earth Day 2008
The Art Association of Bacolod – Negros has chosen the perimeter walls of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos as the venue of the public art mural for the Earth Day 2008 entitled “Koloran ta ang Kalibutan.” From April 19-21, 2008 the Art Association of Bacolod –Negros artists with the participation of UNO-R Web Team artists painted the walls with the environmentally conscious art designs.
MOA Signing with Indigenous Development Coordinators Foundation
April 15, 2008, UNO-R Presidents Hall: True to its vision as an institution that strives to be wholly in service to the community, UNO-R partnered with the Indigenous Development Coordinators Foundation (IDCF) to provide its students and clients with quality Christian education and academic excellence.
Brgy. 40 Officials Inducted
The Barangay Officials of Brgy. 40 were inducted to office by Bacolod City Vice-Mayor Thaddy Sayson last Nov. 23, 2007 at Palmas del Mar Resort. UNO-R belongs to Brgy. 40 and the acting President, Fr. Sixto Bitangjol, OAR, witnessed the induction of officers of Brgy. 40.
Alumni Donates to UNO-R
The Blue and Gold Alumni Association, Inc. recently donated one hundred thirty-six thousand pesos to the UNO-R administration for the purchase of chairs for the President’s Corporate Hall.
UNO-R Donates to Flood Victims
The UNO-R Supreme Student Government, College Governors’ League, Religious Education Department and Tolentine Star in cooperation with the Offices of the Vice President for External Affairs and Vice President for Student Welfare initiated a fund drive for the flood victims in San Enrique.
