Dr. Evangeline Evangelista, Dean of the College of Engineering of USJ-R, is the adviser of Fr. Bitangjol.
He is currently the Vice-President for Administration, Director of Basic Education, Principal of the High School Department and the Human Resource Management Officer of University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos, Bacolod City. |

Fr. Bitangjol is a native of Palo, Leyte. He had been in the educational apostolate from the start of his priesthood except for a break when he was sent to Navarra, Spain to work at the Archives of the Province of San Nicolas de Tolentino. After returning from Spain, he was in San Carlos City as Principal and later on, to USJ-R as Vice-President for Academics. He is a returnee to UNO-R as he was assigned in this University in 1996 as the Director of Campus Ministry Office and the Dean of Religious Education.
