Mr. Antonio Gargarita finished his BSC in 1970 and was the Vice –President of the Student
Affairs Organization (SAO). He was at-times the acting President when Atty. Greg Andres was out of the campus to attend seminars. He was also the first UNO-Rian to join the National Union of Students in the Philippines (NUSP) before the first quarter storm and the declaration of Martial Law. He was a very active student leader. He was also a known banker in the business community of Bacolod. He also finished his Ll.B at UNO-R. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of FEMAA, MPC and a Barangay Kagawad.
PSSUPT Edgardo Ordaniel finished his BS Criminology in 1981. He was an officerof the CrimSao in 80-81 and also a member of the UNO-R Varsity team. He had served the PNP in various top positions and is currently the Director of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
Gargarita and Ordaniel are among the 50 alumni who were given recognition during the UNO-R@50 celebrations last May 25, 2012.
