Fray Persiuz Joseph Decena, OAR, Director of the UNO-R Integrated School, with Fray Don H. Besana, OAR and Fray Jose Teodulfo Jadulco, OAR led the Mass of the Holy Spirit for the Integrated School (N-10) last July 5, 2019. Fray Decena in his homily, talked about the beauty of receiving a gift and giving it also to others. He called it “re-gifting”. It is in re-gifting that we see the value of the gift. We need to appreciate the gifts of the Holy Spirit by sharing them to others. He also reminded everyone of their uniqueness and the gift of being UNO-Rains. In school, the learners are fortunate that we do not only develop the mind but the heart as well. The formation of the heart is the core of Catholic education. The Holy Spirit speaks to us through our hearts. And as UNO-Rains, we are all better because we have lots of love and care. The Mass of the Holy Spirit was followed by the orientation of the learners. (photo courtesy of UNO-R Starlight)
