“PANINDUGAN” HELD AT UNO-R

Local mayoralty, vice mayoralty and congressional candidates were brought together to the university Gymnasium last April 15 for a debate tagged as “Panindugan 2016”.  The program was produced by KBP – Neg. Occ. Chapter and ABS-CBN in partnership with the university.  Mrs. Ma. Judy B. Legaspi was the moderator of the debates.  The program started with the presentation of the platforms of governance of the Voce Mayoralty candidates of Bacolod – Councilor El Cid Familiaran and  Mr. Vladi Gonzales.  This was followed by the exchange of ideas from the five (5)Bacolod Congressional candidates –Vice Mayor Greg Gasataya; Thaddy Sayson; Councilor Archie Baribar; Councilor Carlo Lopez and Mr. Enriquez.  The debates reached its heights during the presentations of the programs of governance of the Mayoralty candidates – Congressman Evelio Leonardia; Mayor Monico Fuentebella and Mr. Wilfredo David.  Towards the end of the program, the Moderator called the attention of the supporters of MKK for their unruly behavior and for walking out on the speech of the Congressman while their mayor was also in the stage.  The debates ended peacefully.
