PQA OPENS 4-DAY ASSESSMENT AND PLANNING ACTIVITY

The Virtual four-day Assessment and Planning activity of the university opened last August 2, 2021. Day one activity opened with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass led by Fr. Don Besana, OAR. After the opening formalities, Fr. President opened the program with his Opening Remarks and Dr. Elmer Haro gave the Rationale of the activity.  Presentations of Planning Assessment Reports summary and Operational Plans (Bridging the gap) were done by the different offices of the University. It started with the Offices under the Vice President for Administration.  Mr. Marian Antenor gave the assessment summary and annual plan for the Information and Communications Technology Dept; Ms. Rowela Javier for the Human Resource Management and Development Office; and Mr. Mars Olea for the Security and Safety Dept.  It was followed by the offices under the Vice President for Academics.  Operational plans were given by the following:  Dr. Sheila Arnibal (CAMHS); Dr. Annabee Claur (CAS); Mrs. Grace Lopena, CPA, MBA, JD ( CABACS); Dr. Jasmin Parreno (CCJE); Dr. Theresa Chavez (COEd); Engr. Christopher Taclobos (COEng); Ms. Venus Blancia and Mr. Harry Magluyan ( Integrated School); Dr. Dennis Madrigal (RBGS); Dr. Nena Samillano (STEP); Engr. Ashraf Khater, MEnE (RDO); Ms. Chris Feli Joy Tajonera, MSGC, RGC (SDPC); and Sheila de la Cruz, MSLIS (Library).

Day 2 opened with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  Dr. Haro presented the Management of learning for the day 1 activity. The presentation of summary and plans continued with the offices under the Vice President for Finance. Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague, CPA, MBA reported for the Accounting office; Mr. Ildefonso Obligado for the Property Administrator’s office; and Mr. Alvin Manaquil for the Management Information System (MIS).  Dr. Dexter Pauil Dioso for the assessment summary for offices under the VP-Student Welfare and the annual plan for the DSA;  Mrs. Elma Tejisa for Sports;  Dr. CM Taclobos for the Medical Services; and Ms. Cathy Sebastian for the Scholarships. Ms. Lucille Rosquillo gave the summary report for the offices under the VP- Religious Affairs and plan for the Campus Ministry Office; Ms. Genie Pedrosa for the Religious Education and Ms. Maribel Gonzales for the University Community Development Office. Dr. Elmer Haro presented the summary report for the offices under the President and the annual plan of the Planning and Quality Assurance office. Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr presented the annual operational plan of the Office of External Affairs. Dr. Haro also presented the important dates for the School year 2021-2022.  Fr. President thanked and commended all those who have made the assessment activity a success.  Closing Remarks was given Engr. Christopher Taclobos.

The Institutional Strategic Planning activity will be held on August 5 and 6, 2021.
