UNO-R AND SIFI SIGN MOA

The University and the Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) had a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing last August 16, 2023, at the President’s Hall. The MOU was signed by the Chairperson of SIFI, former Congresswomen Edith Villanueva, while Fr. President represented UNO-R. The said MOU entails a partnership between SIFI and UNO-R in developing the Sugar industry in Negros, initiated by a Recollect Frair, Padre Fernando Cuenca.

The partnership will also give scholarships to deserving children of sugar workers in the Province. Also present at the signing were Judy Ann Divinagracia, Henry Pisga, Rhyan Clyde Dario, Markel Divinagracia,  Dr. Annabee Claur,  Dr. Paul Onal, Ma. Judy B. Legaspi, Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr., faculty members and students of the Agriculture Department.
