The UNO-R High School Student Leaders had their leadership training seminar last August 4 at the High School Academic and Cultural Center, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The leadership training was organized by Mr. Dexter Paul Dioso, High School SAO Adviser. Resource speakers were UNORSSGO President Bobb Michael Bokingo, UNORSSGO Senators John Floyd Abrico, and Jude Xerxes Herbolario, COF President Phoebe Mae Perez, and OIC- MassComm PR Intern Daisy May Nonato. The speakers talked about the essential characters of a leader, things to ponder when joining a student government organization, good communication skills, how to handle challenges, and conducted teambuilding activities. The activity recapped with a talk from the University Director of Student Affairs. The seminar aimed to remind student leaders of their full responsibility and help them become good examples for their fellow high school students.
