The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos is holding an exhibit at SM City – Bacolod East Bridgeway. It showcases the history and course offerings of the first university in the province of Negros Occidental. The exhibit is part of the culminating activities of UNO-Recoletos as it celebrates its 50th year as a Recollect institution in the Province of Negros Occidental. The exhibits tagged as “UNO-R@50” formally opened last May 14, 2012 at 2:30 pm. UNO-R@50 Executive Committee Chairperson, Rev. Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR led the ribbon cutting with incoming Recoleto de Bacolod Prior Fr. Constantino Real, OAR; Talisay Parish Priest, Fr. Joseph Dexter Palagtiosa, OAR; Bro. Jaazeal Jakosalem, OAR and the Deans of the colleges of UNO-R.
