The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) agreed to make the university as the testing center for the Philippine Licensure Examination for Teachers (PLET). The whole campus was utilized for the said Board examination. PLET was administered nationwide, September 27. The decision to make UNO-R as a Testing Center was done after the invitation of College of Education Dean, Dr. Nena Samillano for PRC to consider UNO-R as a venue for the PLET. Mr. Remus Magbanua assisted the Dean and PRC personnel in the choice of Proctors and volunteers. The Our Lady of Consolation Bldg. (CB&A) , St. Thomas de Villanova Hall ( CoEd) , St. Joseph Hall (CoE) and St. Rita of Cascia Hall (Grade school) were the facilities that were used. (Angelica Javellana BSMC 3)
