Member s of the Visual Identity (VID) gathered last January 28, 2019 at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Balamban Campus, Cebu City. The gathering was in response to the challenge of the Province’s life and Mission Project (LAMP 2018-2022) #21 which is to design and publicize an official visual identity device (VID) for all Recollect schools of the Province. Visual identity is commonly used in business strategies to convey the symbolic meaning that cannot be described by words alone. Visual Identity creates a vision, an image or a symbol that could identify a certain organization’s unique quality or what differentiates it from others. This assembly was conducted to plan for the new visual identity to be used by all the Recollect schools around the country. The graphic artists, external affairs coordinators, and marketing coordinators were involved in this assembly wherein they suggested and contributed their ideas to the new visual elements that they will be using. UNO-R was represented by Mr. Avelino “Jiggs” Kalalang III of the Office of External Affairs. The purpose of the assembly and planning for a new or enhanced visual identity is for the marketing of Recollect schools.
