The Panas-an Small Fisherfolks Association (PASFA) was initiated by forty-four fishermen from Sitio Panas-an, Isio, Cauayan, Negros Occidental. It was duly registered in DOLE with registration no. 8860574. These fisherfolks depend their survival on their daily catch, thus life is not easy for them. It was last July when they requested from our school thru UCDO for some school supplies to help meet the educational needs of their children. Last September 12, 2019, 10:30 am, representatives from their community received the school supplies through a short program facilitated by the UCDO Staff and attended by Fr. Cristituto Palomar, OAR together with some UCDO Coordinators. The collection of the school supplies was done by the Campus Ministry Office Staff and donated by the children from the grade school, Junior and, Senior High and all those who offered these items during the novena masses. Kudos Unorians! (News from UCDO)
