The College of Arts and Sciences held its Departments’ days. The English and Mass Communication sponsored the City-wide Radio Announcing contest 2012 last Feb. 16, where Jeanlee Alfon of Holy Family High School won as champion while Kimberly Joy Mosquera of Luisa Medel NHS and Irish Macainan of Sum-ag NHS got 1st and 2nd runners-up. They also sponsored the Province-wide News –writing competition where Rens Gabriel Garduque of Fellowship Baptist School of Binalbagan emerged as Champion. Jason Aspero of Rafael Lacson Memorial High School and Kate Julia Toquillo of Handumanan National High School for 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
