SW Program Inks MOA with DSWD-NIR

The UNO-R Social Work Program formally inked and strengthened its partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Negros Island Region (NIR) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at strengthening collaboration in social work education and expanding opportunities for Field Instruction across the region.

Present during the MOA signing were Dr. Jade Snow C. Dionzon, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Mr. Aaron Kim Gil, RSW, MSW, Social Work Program Head, representing the UNO-R Religious Administrators. Representing DSWD NIR were Regional Director Mr. Arwin O. Razo, RSW, Assistant Regional Director for Operations Ms. Aileen Cuevas, together with the DSWD NIR guests, Dyna Mae Zerna, Melvin Abasolo, Ardelio Saga, John Christian Dumancas, and Nikkei Villafuerte.

The partnership signifies a shared commitment to developing competent, ethical, and community-responsive future social workers through strengthened academic-agency collaboration, field placement opportunities, and professional engagement within the Negros Island Region.
