Fourteen students from different colleges participated in the Essay Writing Contest sponsored by the EXECOM and Academic Committee. Each students was given 1 hour and thirty minutes to finish their work based on the theme;”Reliving Faith, Renew, Redefine, Revitalize.” The purpose of the contest is to provide the students the chance to express their thoughts, for them to inform; to persuade; to call other readers to action; to change attitudes; to analyze; to provoke thought; to express feeling; or to give aesthetic pleasure in this intellectual pursuit. The winners will receive cash prizes and certificates. The results will be announced during the closing ceremony on September 14, 2013, 3:00 P.M. in the Amphitheatre.
