Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR, CMO Director and University Chaplain, attended the conference of the Association of Southeast Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities last Aug. 23 – 26, Kaoshiung, Taiwan. The conference was participated by lay and religious administrators of Catholic colleges and universities from Southeast Asia. “Service Learning Program and Social Entrepreneurship” were tackled during the conference. Fr. Latoza shared to his companions that NSTP of UNO-R, which he considered as a part of Service Learning Program, teaches basic skills which they could use to serve the community. He also shared the Recoletos Social Outreach Center (RESOURCE)- Handumanan experience on Social Entrepreneurship, where people in the community are taught livelihood skills which they can use to earn a living.
